Is Ammuri Skincare Suitable for Sensitive Skin?

Sensitive skin requires a careful approach — the wrong ingredient at the wrong concentration can trigger redness, irritation, or breakouts. This page answers the most common questions we receive about using Ammuri products on sensitive skin.

What Makes Skin Sensitive?

Sensitive skin typically has a compromised or reactive skin barrier. This means it responds more strongly to ingredients, environmental changes, and stress. Common triggers include fragrance, alcohol, high-strength acids, and physical exfoliants.

Which Ammuri Products Are Best for Sensitive Skin?

Niacinamide Serum — Niacinamide is one of the most well-tolerated brightening ingredients available. It works gently to even skin tone without disrupting the skin barrier. The Ammuri Niacinamide Serum is suitable for daily use on sensitive skin types.

Exosome Booster Serum — Exosome technology is designed to support skin repair and renewal. The Ammuri Exosome Booster Serum is free from harsh bleaching agents and suitable for those with reactive skin, though we always recommend a patch test first.

Vitamin C Day Cream SPF50 — A lightweight daily moisturiser with SPF50 and Vitamin C. The Ammuri Vitamin C Day Cream SPF50 is formulated without a white cast and is generally well tolerated.

What to Introduce Slowly

High-strength retinol (3.5% and above) should be introduced gradually on sensitive skin — starting 2 nights per week and building up over several weeks. Always follow with a gentle moisturiser and SPF the next morning.

Our Recommendation

Start with Niacinamide and SPF50 as your foundation. Once your skin has adjusted, introduce the Exosome Serum in the evening. Add retinol only when your skin feels stable and comfortable.

Patch test every new product on the inner arm for 24 hours before applying to your face.
